Concert Choir:
The Concert Choir strives for musical excellence with every concert. Rehearsals take place three times a week with smaller group lessons once a week. Through these rehearsals in addition to learning the music, good vocal technique, and performing, students will develop listening skills, cooperative skills, and correct performance etiquette.
Currently we are preparing for our Holiday Concert.
In addition to some fun holiday music, the group has taken on two very difficult pieces:
Britten's Ceremony of Carols (Movements 1-4 and 8-10)

Recently we announced that this year's spring musical will be Guys and Dolls. Auditions will be held on Saturday, January 23. We will start learning the dance for the audition in class when classes resume in January. I highly recommend each student interested in a leading role start preparing a short monologue and the required song over the winter break. For the guys the song to prepare will be "Luck be a Lady" and the girls the song will be "If I were a Bell." If the student is just interested in singing in the chorus all that is required is the dance audition and the choral part of "Sit Down, You're Rockin' the Boat." All the music will be distributed before the winter break begins.
